<p>Coupling rod for articulated fastening of a U-shaped stabilizing bar to the body or radius arm of a motor vehicle. Known coupling rods are articulated by means of elastic rubber elements. The new coupling rod is less subject to constraints, can move through a larger angle, is cheaper to manufacture and can be mounted automatically in a limited space. The new coupling rod, consists preferably of two separate components, the coupling rod head (52) which receives the stabilizing bar (41) and the coupling rod journal (51) movably secured via a ball joint to the radius arm (2). The coupling rod journal (51) is designed as a threaded bolt screwed into the coupling rod head (52). A spherical bearing (61), which can be fastened to the radius arm (2) and having a through hole (62) in the form of a double truncated cone through which the threaded bolt passes, and two diametrically opposed calotte-shaped sliding cups (7) which partly surround the bearing (61) and are mounted on the threaded bolt, are held together slidingly by the threaded bolt so as to allow spherical movements.</p> |
