PURPOSE:To enable a recording by the direction of recording data of a main body equipment from the side of a manual-scan type recorder, by mounting an instruction means which instructs the transfer of a required area of recording data specified by a specification means from the main body equipment to the manual-scan type recorder. CONSTITUTION:A control program for a main body equipment 200 is stored in a ROM of a control part 201, and with the instruction of the reading of document data from an input part 202 the document data is read to be stored in a RAM of the control part 201 and displayed on a display 203. A data part, area of which is defined by the key operation of an operation part 105 (or the input part 202), is transferred from an input/output part 205 to a manual printer 100. A control program of the manual printer 100 is stored in a ROM 102 of a control part 101. When a start switch 108 is pressed, the manual printer 100 identifies whether data to be printed is present in a RAM, thereafter waiting for the input of a printing timing signal from a rotation detecting part 106 to output the recording data to a driver 103 to drive a recording head 104 for executing a printing action. |
