PURPOSE:To obtain a film excellent in adhesion of a toner thereto and feedability in a copying machine, by providing a recording layer comprising an aqueous resin emulsion and a cationic acrylic resin as main constituents on a surface of a transparent support. CONSTITUTION:A film comprises a recording layer comprising an aqueous resin emulsion and a cationic acrylic resin as main constituents on a surface of a transparent support. The recording layer is preferably crosslinked by jointly using a crosslinking agent, thereby enhancing the heat resistance, water resistance and adhesion to the support of the recording layer. The crosslinking agent may be, for example, a methylol compound, a polyaldehyde compound, a polyamine, aziridine or other similar multifunctional compound. The weight ratios of (aqueous resin emulsion):(cationic acrylic resin):(crosslinking agent) are preferably 80-20:20-80:0-10, from the viewpoints of adhesion of the recording layer to the support, adhesion of toner images to the recording layer, antistatic properties, heat resistance, water resistance, flexibility or the like. |
