<p>A new composition, useful as a medicament, contains ascorbate, preferably as metallic slat(s), in combination with a dopamine agonist such as bromocriptine, with the ratio by weight of ascorbate to bromocriptine being 400:1 or greater. This combination, believed to act through stimulation of pituitary production of somatotropin, has a significant ability to stimulate enhanced lymphocyte function. Other useful dopamine agonists include lergotrile and pergolide.</p> |
