The invention relates to a pillar, consisting of a hollow tube which is closed at least at one end. The object of the invention is to make use of objects constructed fixedly in such places, with simple means, in order to house therein, in a fixed position, distribution systems for electrical energy so that they no longer interfere with the overall architectural image. The pillar according to the invention is characterised in that the wall of the tube is provided with at least one opening which can be closed by means of a flap or door, in that at least one mounting plate is arranged inside the tube, in that the pillar has at least one opening for the introduction of a cable and in that electrical installation components are mounted on the mounting plate. <IMAGE> |
