DRUG COMPOSITION CONTAINING FRUCTOSE-1, 6-DIPHOSPHATE USEFUL FOR TREATMENT OF ACUTE ALCOHOLISM

PURPOSE: To obtain a medicine composition for treating physical and/or mental diseases caused by alcoholism, comprising fructose-1,6-diphosphate. CONSTITUTION: This medicine composition comprises a fructose-1,6-diphosphoric acid salt, preferably sodium salt and is useful for treating development of symptom caused by acute alcoholic drunkenness and chronic alcoholism and acute alcoholism. Daily dose of the composition is 100-400g/Kg weight, preferably 250-400g/Kg weight and the composition containing sodium lactose-1,6- diphosphate in the form of fine crystal or freeze-dried state is preferably administered into vein.
