PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition extremely effective as a base material for cosmetic, etc., having excellent stability with time, characteristics of organic function such as touch in use, containing a hydrogenated phospholipid, a specific surfactant and water as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A gelatinous composition containing (A) a hydrogenated phospholipid (preferably one having 0-40 iodine value, most suitably phosphatidyl choline), (B) one or more surfactants selected from polyoxyethylene alkyl ether surfactant having <=12 HLB value and polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil surfactant having <=8 HLB value and (C) water. The blending ratio is >=1.0wt.%, preferably 2-10wt.% component A calculated as final concentration, >=0.1wt.%, preferably 0.5-10wt.% component B calculated as final concentration and when used, the three components are blended while stirring and made into a uniform gelatinous state to prepare a gelatinous composition. |
