CONSTITUTION:When a reset switch 101 is depressed, an interruption control circuit 104 outputs an interruption signal 110 to a central processing unit 107. The central processing unit 107 executes processing for storing the contents of an internal register, information relating to the execution state of a program controlled by an operating system, the contents of a control register to be a peripheral hardware, etc., in a previously determined specific area in a main storage or an external storage device and then executes a reset instruction for resetting the whole system. Even when a fault such as program runaway and an infinite loop interrupting the normal execution of a program is generated, information necessary for fault analysis for a fault generating position, a fault generating cause, etc., can be collected.</p> |
