PURPOSE: To hold the tension of an associated belt loop by attaching each floating roller to each of two pairs of first arms and connecting respective ends of the second arms of one pair of levers to corresponding ends of the second ams of the other pair of levers by a tension spring system. CONSTITUTION: When a belt 1 located in a pressure area position bears the slightly low speed of a belt 26. Since the belt 1 is driven by a driving roller 2 at a constant and slightly high speed, a loop on which a floating roller 9 is wound is increased. However, the roller 9 is rotated and lowered together with an arm 19a under a force applied by a spring 24 through a lever 19 so that the tension of the loop is held. The belt 1 slides on a guide roller 4 and travels at invariable speed, so that a loop on which a floating roller 10 is wound is decreased. The roller 10 is rotated together with an arm 21a and raised. The roller 10 holds the tension of members in the loop under a force applied by the spring 24 through a lever 21. |
