A wall comprises mortar-jointed slabs 4 of aerated concrete which are faced, either before or after, erection, by removable plastics panels 1 having their horizontal edges 2 flanged and undercut to engage recesses in the slab edges. A foam plastics sealing strip 6 may be inserted in the grooves between panels. The vertical edges of adjacent panels may be interlocked as shown in Fig. 3. The wall may have a steel or concrete framework (not shown). |
