PURPOSE: To efficiently feed carton blanks to a packaging device without requiring an operator by tilting the blanks to locate them in vertical or substantially vertical positions. CONSTITUTION: When the rest of carton blanks 10 is decreased to about 20, a tilting conveyor 46 is returned to a first low position. After the tilting conveyor 46 returns to the initial position, independent conveyors 37 and 38 are driven. Thus, a second blank stack 13 is fed to the area of the tilting conveyor 46. The second stack is similarly moved to a blank magazine 25. Then, a next group of the blank stacks 13 and 14 is supplied to a receiving part 23. When the tilted blank stacks 13 and 14 come into contact with a remaining stack 83, holding claws 78 and 79 are returned, so that the remaining stack 83 comes into direct contact with blank stacks 13 and 14. |
