<p>The valve comprises a valve head (2) carried by a stem (3) slidably mounted inside a valve body (4), which comprises a seat (5) against which the valve head (2) can bear under the action of elastic return means (6), the valve head being openable by means of a control member (8) acting on the valve stem. The valve head (2) has an O-ring seal (11) to provide an axial seal against the seat (5). This O-ring seal (11) is contained inside a groove (12) and held by a cylindrical rim (13) around its outer edge, the O-ring seal (11) being able to bear axially against a face running transversely to the axis of the stem, and the seat (5) of the valve head is situated on the side from which the pressurised fluid arrives, so that this valve head is stressed into the closed position by the pressure. <IMAGE></p> |
