NEW MATERIAL:The compound expressed by formula [A is fibronectin peptide residue having cell adhesion activity and selected from Ala<1235>-Gln<1516> (282 amino acid residues) and Ile<1410>-Gln<1516> (107 amino acid residues); B is fibrin- bonded domain peptide residue of fibronectin and is Asn<2133>-Glu<2324> (192 amino acid residues)], etc., and composed of a cell adhesion active polypeptide directly bonded with a fibrin-bonded active polypeptide. USE:A remedy for wound and a carrier for drug delivery system. PREPARATION:The functional polypeptide expressed by formula, etc., can be separated from a cultured product produced e.g., by linking a fragment containing a cDNA coding the cell-adhesion domain of fibronectin with a fragment containing a cDNA coding a fibrin-bonding domain, integrating into a plasmid, introducing the plasmid into a host cell and culturing the transformed cell. |
