PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of spread rolling and to perform continuous operation of the rolling by rotating and rolling a rolling roll, whose surface is formed into a curved face in plural directions, in the travel and lateral directions, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a rolling roll 2 is formed into a curved face in plural directions and bearing boxes 10, 10-1 are supported by links 11, 11-1, respectively. The links 11, 11-1 are vertically moved by rotational motion of eccentric cams 12, 12-1; further, the vertical movement is positioned by guides and rolling motion of the roll 2 in the lateral direction is positioned by abutting a contact guide 20 on a cam plate 21. The roll 2 performs spread rolling by sequentially rolling motion form the left side to the right side. Thus, the cost is reduced because the spread rolling is performed by an integrated continuous- casting and rolling with a low expense. The spread rolling is also continuously performed by rotational motion of the rolls 2. |
