The invention relates to the field of presenting stereoscopic image pairs on a screen. It employs two projectors (1) and (2), each providing the projection of one image of a pair and being disposed on each side of a screen (3) consisting of two arrays of alternate elements (21), (22), respectively reflecting and translucent, and not depolarising the light. The visual selection is provided by crossed polarising filters (5) (6) and (9) (10). The applications are especially those of presentation of television programmes. <IMAGE>
