DEPHOSPHORUS DRUG FOR MELTING IRON

摘要

A calcific dephosphorous agent for melted iron which is used for dephosphorization during usual ladle refining process and gas transporting type powder blowing-in process comprises CaO 15-30 wt.%, CaF2 7-30 wt.% and Fe2O3 bal. and has weight ratio of CaO/O 1.5-3.0. Agglomerate, mill scale, or iron ore is used as Fe2O3. The above agent is relatively simple and cheap to manufacture, and shows high dephosphorizing faculty.
