<p>PURPOSE:To set up various kinds of delay time values in a small memory area by providing the title microcomputer with a virtual memory area for outputting a non-processing instruction at the time of accessing an address other than the final address and outputting a return instruction at the time of accessing the final address. CONSTITUTION:A subroutine cell instruction 18 to be jumped to the virtual memory area 14 is stored in an address requiring a delay time of an existing memory area 12. When a call instruction 18 is executed, the value of a program counter 10 is rewritten to a specified address, e.g. '800', a non-processing instruction is successively executed from the address '800' of the virtual memory area 14 in accordance with the increment timing of the program counter 10. At the time of executing a return instruction 16 in the final address, the contents of the program counter 10 are written to the address next to the address storing the call instruction 18. Consequently, a delay time with an optional size can be set up in a small memory area.</p> |
