PURPOSE:To transmit the vibration energy of a vibrator to a case side efficiently by using a vibrator formed by sticking a metallic plate and piezoelectric plates together, and fixing nearly the center part of the vibrator in the lengthwise direction in the case and swinging the vibrator like a seesaw about the fixed part. CONSTITUTION:The polarized piezoelectric plates 3 and 4 are adhered to the top and reverse surfaces of the rectangular metallic plate 2 and integrated and electrodes 3 and 4 are formed on the surfaces and weights 6a and 6b are fitted to two open ends 2a and 2b of the metallic plate. This vibrator 1 has its center part fixed by a support member 5 projecting into the case 8. Then when an AC signal is applied to the piezoelectric plates 3 and 4, the vibrator 1 vibrates greatly by resonating at a low frequency and then swings like a seesaw around the fixed part. Consequently, the vibration energy of the vibrator 1 is transmitted to the case 8 efficiently. |
