PURPOSE:To obtain hardcopies free from the adverse effects of fitters, even if they are based on whatever types of image signal by providing an A/D converter, a storage element which stores digital data, a latch signal generation circuit which generates a timing signal for the storage element to receive the data, a timing signal generation circuit for designating a printing position, a PLL circuit which controls a clock as a reference device and two delay circuits which match sampling phases. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating clock generated by a PLL circuit is allowed to pass through a duty correction circuit 11 for forming a clock signal for an A/D converter 2 after passing through a delay circuit 9 in a DELAY 1. This duty correction circuit 11 insures the operation of the A/D converter and is no longer required in the A/D converter which can operate based on whatever types of clock. DELAY 1 in the delay circuit 9 is allowed to respond to the variations in the model or set of source personal computer. DELAY 2 in a next delay circuit 10 latches a sampled output from the A/D converter correctly using the storage element without an error. |
