PURPOSE:To obtain a position signal whose output level is high, by inclining the boundary plane between at least a pair of S and N poles in many magnetic poles by an (n) pitch at an angle which is different from the boundary plane between other poles, and using said poles as position-signal detecting poles. CONSTITUTION:A space for three magnetic poles of a magnetic poles 36c and a magnetic pole 36d of a rotor magnet 33 for generating signals for frequency generator (FG) is used, and a pair of magnetic poles 36a and 36b for generating PG signals are formed. The magnetic poles 36a and 36b are intersected obliquely (angle (a)) by using the space of one magnetic pole. A PG-signal detecting coil pattern which is formed at one part of a FG coil pattern 34 is formed in an inclined pattern for one pitch at the same angle (a). Therefore, a speed detecting signal FG at a specified frequency is fetched from an output terminal Z. One position detecting signal PG per one rotation is fetched from an output terminal Y. Thus, the position signal whose output level is high can be obtained. |
