PURPOSE: To double capacity of a tool magazine, and install tools at work by arranging two tool storage units on a turntable so as to be turnable, and arranging both tool grippers on a turnable guide shoe possessed by a tool changing unit so as to be movable in the mutually reverse direction. CONSTITUTION: The same-shaped tool grippers 25, 26 simultaneously grip respective tools 28, 29 by moving the tool 28 to a rear changing position of a magazine 1 and a position of an end mill tool 28 by an operation command when the tool 28 of the work magazine 1 is changed with the other tool 29. A guide shoe 24 is rotated by 180 deg. by a driving device 22 by pulling out both tools 28, 29 from tool receivers of respective storage units 2, 12 by simultaneously moving the tools. Thus, the tool 29 is faced to a present empty tool receiver 3 of the work magazine 1, and the used tool 28 is positioned so as to face to a present empty tool receiver 14 of the tool storage units 12. Both tools 28, 29 are pushed in the respective tool receivers to be held there. |
