The emergency bed centre comprises two or more bunks (1) connected together by connecting elements such as cables or belts (19) or interconnected rods which allow the bunks to hange down from the ceiling when required but lift the bunks up against the ceiling for storage. The connecting cables or similar are attached to the four corners of the bunks. The bunks can be formed by trough like elements designed to hold mattresses. USE - Fold-away bunks for civil defence shelters. |
