发明名称 Nicht ausfasernde Textilprodukte
摘要 Compositions suitable for treating woven fabrics to render them ravel-resistant comprise (a) 4.5% cellulose acetate, 81.1% methylene chloride, 9% methanol and 5.4% tris-(b -chlorethyl) phosphate, (b) 55.2% polyvinyl chloride, 41.4% di-(2-ethylhexyl) adipate, 1.1% mineral oil and stearic acid, 1.2% barium ricinoleate and 1.1% cadmium stearate or (c) 51% polyvinyl chloride, 20.4% di-(2-ethyl hexyl) adipate, 5.1% dioctyl phthalate, 1% mineral oil, 1% barium ricinoleate, 1% cadmium stearate and 20.5% mineral spirits, the percentage compositions being by weight.ALSO:Unhemmed cut edges of woven textile products, e.g. diapers and towels, are rendered ravel resistant by impregnating the fabric adjacent the cut edges with spaced deposits of a substance to seal the yarns adjacent the edges and thereby resist ravelling of the fabric thereat. The main portion of the article may have a Birdseye weave and the edge portions a closely woven plain weave and the edges may be pinked. Examples of suitable compositions of substances for use in the treatment are (1) cellulose acetate, methylene chloride, methanol and tris-(b -chlorethyl) phosphate, (2) a solution of a polyamide in ethanol, (3) a solution of ethyl cellulose in ethyl acetate (4) a solution of ethyl cellulose in ethanol, (5) a solution of ethyl cellulose in methylene chloride, (6) ethyl cellulose, methylene chloride, ethyl alcohol and tris (b -chlorethyl) phosphate, (7) an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic copolymer, (8) polyvinyl chloride, di(2-ethyl hexyl) adipate, mineral oil, stearic acid, barium ricinoleate and cadmium stearate, (9) polyvinyl chloride, di-(2-ethyl hexyl) adipate, dioctyl phthalate, mineral oil, barium ricinoleate, cadmium stearate, and mineral spirits, and (10) a hot melt of polyethylene.
