PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet alloy with considerably enhanced coercive force by preparing an alloy contg. specified percentages of Fe, Cr, Co and Be. CONSTITUTION:An alloy consisting of, by weight, 17-35% Cr, 5-30% Co, 0.01-1% Be and the balance essentially Fe and having a columnar structure as its crystal structure is prepared. To the composition may be added 0.05-5.0% at least one of Si, Ti, Mo, W, Ni, V, Mn, Cu, Al, Nb, Zr, Ce and a rare earth element as a seconary component. |
