PURPOSE:To shorten the time of cooking by using a system in which an upper heater to vertically move in a cooking chamber and a flat plate-shaped lower heater fixed or moving back and forth are provided, and heat is transmitted by conduction from the upper heater and by radiation and convection from the lower heater. CONSTITUTION:In an upper heater 8, plural heaters formed by providing electric heating wires 84 to heat-resistant insulating thin plates 83 of mica, etc., and protective materials 85 and 81 are set in flat plate form. A lower heater 9 is of a flat plate form made up of heat-resistant insulators 93 of mica, etc., and protective materials 95 and 91. An object 5 to be cooked is placed on the lower heater 9, the upper heater 8 of a flat plate form is allowed to come near the object 5, and the object 5 is cooked by heating. In this case, since heat is conducted by conduction from the lower heater and also by radiation and a little convection from the upper heater but they are closed to the object to be cooked, the radiation and conduction efficiencies of heat are high and therefore, the cooking time can be shortened. |
