ELASTOMER CONNECTOR DEVICE

PURPOSE: To regulate flatness of an installed part and most efficiently radiate heat by constituting an elastomer connector device of an elastomer base arranged on a base body and a mechanical bias means. CONSTITUTION: An elastomer base 18 causes deformation of about 25-50% under a surface conductor tab 20 forming a region to make contact with an input output contact point 12 of a chip 9 when force not to give damage to the previously selected chip 9 is applied. The chip 9 is supported at a specified position on a base plate 8 by a purely mechanical bias means. This mechanical means is a flat heat transfer plate to make the chip 9 contact with a contact point region 21 protruding each chip input output pad 12 by pressing it in the direction of an elastomer connector. Consequently, as the elastomer base 18 has sufficient elasticity enough to compensate a small difference of flatness due to a manufacturing error, a flat chip is provided, and because of flatness of the chip 9, it is possible to most efficiently cool it by using a flat cooling plate.
