A polypeptide useful in the reconstitution of immune functions in thymic deprived or immunodeprived warm-blooded mammals of the formula AcSer-Asp-Ala-Ala-Val-Asp-Thr-Ser-Ser-Glu-Ile-Thr-Thr-Lys-Asp-Leu-Lys- Glu-Lys-Ly s-Glu-Val-Val-Glu-Glu-Ala-Glu-Asn-Gly-Arg-Glu-Ala-Pro-Ala-AsnOh (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
