Method and optical fibre system for viewing objects which are difficult to access, by using a random optical fibre bundle whose one end is pointed at the object to be viewed and whose other end is imaged on an image sensor field which generates electrical image signals, in which case before the use of the respective optical fibre bundle (LLB) of the arrangement of the individual optical fibres of the respective bundle (LLB), corresponding values are detected at the end remote from the object, with respect to their arrangement at the end close to the object, and are stored, and during the use of the respective optical fibre bundle the random image signals generated by the image sensor field (SEN) are rearranged with reference to the stored values which correspond to the arrangement, remote from the object, of the individual optical fibres of the respective bundle (LLB) into ordered image signals which correspond to the arrangement, close to the object, of the optical fibres, and a corresponding optical fibre bundle system.
