PURPOSE:To execute an efficient image transmission by executing the transmission of a thin-out for each prescribed number of scanning lines over several cycles. CONSTITUTION:A digital image signal is read in jumping over the scanning lines for l-lines from a storage means 2 by a read control means 3, and thereafter, the signal is sent to a transmission line. It is written to a storage means 7. At such a time, the digital image signals equal to the signal written to the scanning line to be just above are written even to addresses corresponding to the scanning lines to be written simultaneously with the writing to the address corresponding to the scanning lines every other l-number of scanning lines and (l-1)-number of scanning lines between the scanning lines, and the signals are successively displayed on an image monitor 8. Thus, the digital image signal can be efficiently transmitted in a short time. |
