<p>PURPOSE: To prevent any damage to a sleeve or hose separation by forming a void in space between terminals of a land and a hose, and simultaneously installing a means for connecting this void to an outer surface of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A coupling 16 is provided with a first pleated hose receiver 18, a second outer connector 20 at the opposite end and a land element 22 lying halfway between these two members 18 and 20. A sleeve 24 encloses both of a hose end and the hose receiver 18, and it is crimped onto this hose end 14. A void 30 exists in space between a plane portion 26 and the end 14 of a hose 12. A capillary hole 32 pierces through both of a circumferential wall 28 and the sleeve 24, letting all the stored hydrostatic pressure escape therefrom.</p> |
