PURPOSE:To enable applying a sufficiently high bias voltage obstructing a flow of a developer by placing an electrode on the inside surface of a developer containing part opposed to the magnetic pole of a magnetic roller. CONSTITUTION:In a two-component developing device, an electrode 24 placed so as to be opposed to a partial magnet body 30 of a developing roller 21 is structured so as to be arranged on the inside surface of a developer containing box 20 consisting of an insulator. In such a way, there is no obstacle and the flow of a developer in the vicinity of the electrode 24 is not obstructed, and a uniform toner concentration can be maintained by a stirring machine 22. Also, since a distance between a rotary sleeve 26 and the electrode 24 can be taken enough, an image having a sufficient toner density is obtained from the points that a sufficient bias voltage can be applied, etc. |
