PURPOSE:To suppress temp. rise of a Li plate due to heat at the time of welding and increase the degree of freedom in designing, by arranging a spacer between the inner bottom surface of a battery case and a Li plate as a neg. electrode, and furnishing a gaseous layer as an insulation layer. CONSTITUTION:A spacer is arranged between the inner bottom surface of a battery case 1 of metal serving also as a neg. electrode terminal and a negative electrode 3, and Li or Li alloy as neg. electrode 3 is hindered from directly contacting the battery case 1. Accordingly a gaseous layer with poor thermal conductivity is provided between the inner bottom surface of the battery case and the negative electrode consisting of Li plate. This can prevent temp rise of the Li plate at the time of welding, and welding of the fit part can be performed very effectively to contribute to increasing the degree of freedom in designing. |
