Multiple coating of surfaces subjected to moisture

A description is given of a multiple coating of surfaces, such as floors in cellars or the like, which are subjected to moisture, which coating is composed of a mixture which gives a compensation layer capable of diffusing water vapour and comprises at least one granular filler with a binder, the ratio of which is between 20 and 70 parts by weight of filler to 1 part by weight of binder, of a flexible sealing covering which seals off the surface of the compensation layer in a water-tight manner and consists of a solvent-free, bituminous plastic, of a plastic protective layer and of a surface-sealing reaction-resin protective covering. The granular filler of the compensation layer is quartz pebbles, stone pebbles or granules with a grain size of between approximately 0.5 and 4.0 mm, and the binder is a two-component synthetic resin.
