A printed circuit connector assembly comprises an insulating housing containing a series of electrical connectors, for engaging printed conductors on a printed circuit panel, the housing having resilient portions to take up irregularities in the levels of the printed conductors. An underplan view of the housing, of plastics material, is shown wherein a series of connector supporting portions 30 are attached to the main body 18 by resilient necks 32. Each member 30 receives a connector (Fig. 1, not shown) having a resilient contact (14) which projects from the bottom face of the housing, when in position, to engage a printed conductor (44). The housing is locked to the panel by posts which are formed integral with the body and have locking portions 26 insertable through holes in the panel (Fig. 6, not shown). Locating projections for insertion in further holes in the panel are also provided on the body. A housing having a modified form of locking means and its corresponding panel are also described (Figs. 8-11, not shown).</p> |
