PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of utilization of a radio channel, by counting the number of pager calling requests in each signal format group (having a different transmission rate) and accepting calling requests so that the total time required for the calls does not become longer than an interval of transmission time. CONSTITUTION:Pager calling requests are stored in delay buffers 4A-4C by signal formats; and counting circuits 3A-3C counts the numbers of the calling requests, and a time counting circuit 7 calculates the total time required for the calling. Then when the total time becomes equal to one period of call signal transmission, a blocking signal is sent out through a terminal 70 to stop the storage into the delay buffers 4A-4C thereafter. |
