Rubber compositions produced by curing a blend of (A) highly unsaturated rubber and (B) a saturated rubber utilizing a curing agent comprising sulfur, a sulfur cure accelerator, zinc oxide and a peroxide curative wherein between 5 and 150 gram atoms of sulfur per mole of peroxide is present exhibit desirable rubber properties coupled with increased scorch resistance.
