The invention relates to a device for removing a feeder from castings. According to the invention, this device should have a bracket (9) to hold the casting (10) with the feeder freely accessible, a tool (6) for the releasable fixing of the casting (10) on the bracket (9) and a power-driven impact tool (5) which is associated with the bracket (9) and can be moved in a direction of action which is suitable at least with respect to the feeder (11). <IMAGE>
