Distribution box for telecommunications technology

The distribution box consists of a baseplate having closure pieces screwed firmly thereon and a casing which can be fitted thereover. The closure piece has cable entry parts which are to be provided with individual cable entry openings, corresponding to the cross-section of the cable to be led in. In order to achieve this conveniently and inexpensively, it is proposed to construct the cable entry parts integrally with the closure piece and to make them form a single-layer profiled wall in which the various entry openings for the cables are directly cut.
