摘要 The superconducting cable includes a rigid inner tube, in which there is arranged at least one superconducting conductor core with an oxide-ceramic high-temperature superconductor material, which core is cooled by a corresponding cooling medium. The inner tube is concentrically enclosed by a rigid outer tube, an evacuated intermediate space being formed between inner tube and outer tube. In the case of this cable, technical cooling problems owing to eddy currents in metallic tube parts are to be avoided, with the aim being to achieve a simple construction. For this purpose it is provided that the at least one conductor core (7a to 7c) has a supporting element (8), around which there is helically wound a strip-shaped conductor (12) with a high-temperature superconductor material (roll 10), this material being electrically bonded, at least at certain locations, to a material of good electrical conductivity for its stabilisation, and that at least the inner tube (22) carrying the cooling medium (LN2) consists of a vacuum-tight and coolant-tight polymer material. The outer tube (23) is advantageously also produced from this material. <IMAGE>
