The present invention relates to a dental grinding tool which is coated with an abrasive and has improved use properties and which is characterised in that the abrasive is fixed by means of a layer, which consists of a nickel/boron eutectic, to the metallic carrier, and to a process for its production, which is characterised in that the grinding tool which has been attached in a manner known per se to the previously nickel-plated metallic carrier is fixed by means of a nickel/boron eutectic which is deposited in the absence of current.
