PURPOSE:To increase blackness by adding a blue colorant to a black image toner containing a thermoplastic resin and a black colorant. CONSTITUTION:When only carbon black is contained as the black colorant in the electrophotographic toner, the color on the side of a short wavelength region is deficient and lacks the depth of blackness, and the color on the side of the short wavelength region is increased and the blackness can be deepened by incorporating a blue colorant in the black colorant in an amount of 0.05-50wt.% of the black colorant. As a blue colorant, Cu-phthalocyanine is used. |
