ANTI-THEFT VEHICLE FUEL PUMP CONTROL

A fuel cut-off anti-theft device for a vehicle comprises an electronic fuel pump 1 having operating means housed within the body of the pump and control means for the operating means. The control means comprises a local control device 10 which may be attached to the pump 1 and a remote input keypad 12. The pump body 6 and local control device 10 are encapsulated within an epoxy resin 11 which is brittle on setting to make it extremely difficult for a thief to tamper with the device.
