PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for ink for stamping, etc., to enhance workability and to facilitate the automation of a marking stage by utilizing an org. protective film provided on an optical disk substrate and stamping a serial number, etc., thereon while generating ruggedness on the film. CONSTITUTION:The optical disk medium is constituted of the substrate 1 and the protective film 2 on which the marks 3 are formed. Namely, polycarbonate or the like formed with grooves such as guide grooves is provided to one face of the substrate 1 to previously increase the strength. The protective film 2 is deposited on the other face. The ruggedness is provided by stamping to the prescribed position of the protective film 2 by using the film 2 before film 2 is cured and thereafter, the film is cured to expose the prescribed marks 3 in the above-mentioned constitution. The marking is thus extremely simplified. |
