PURPOSE:To coincide the optic axis of an eye to be checked with the transmission direction of an ultrasonic wave and to easily and exactly measure the length of the optical axis by providing an ultrasonic oscillator brought into contact with a cornea in a tip, and making the directing angle variable in this ultrasonic oscillator. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic oscillator 4 is fit to the tip part of an ultrasonic probe 3 by a support 5 freely turnable. An actuator 6 is linked through a transmission member 7 to this ultrasonic oscillator 4. For the ultrasonic oscillator 4, the directing angle is made variable by the actuator 6 and the directing angle can be made coincident with the optical axis of the eye. |
