发明名称 HEAT TREATMENT OF HIGH SILICON STEEL STRIP
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the texture for the purpose of reducing iron loss as a magnetic core of a high silicon steel strip, by bringing a silicon steel plate serving as a seed into contact with the surface of the high silicon steel strip of a thin thickness obtained by an ultra-quick cooling method, then heating in an inert atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A silicon steel plate serving as a seed having desired texture is brought into contact with the surface of a high silicon steel strip (about 4-8% silicon) of about 0.1mm. thickness obtd. by an ultra-quick cooling method, and these plates are heated in an inert atmosphere to cause epitaxial crystal growth, whereby the high silicon steel strip having the texture essentially the same as the texture of the above-mentioned silicon steel plate serving as a seed is obtained. To obtain the high silicon steel plate suited as a magnetic core by the above-mentioned method, the silicon steel plate having essentially the texture (110)<001> or (100)<001> is used as the silicon steel plate serving as a seed, and is subjected to a heat treatment at about 1,200 deg.C in about 10<-5> torr vacuum.
