<p>PURPOSE:To attain fast forwarding and fast rewinding without giving damage to a magnetic tape by providing a driving means which shifts the rotary head for recording and reproduction of a video signal to a position where the head is not brought into contact with the magnetic tape at the time of fast forwarding and fast rewinding. CONSTITUTION:When the tape is fast forwarded and fast rewound, a solenoid is excited, and the tip of a pin 45 is abutted on the surface of a PG magnet. Next, a motor base rotates by conducting a motor coil. With the rotation, a rotary shaft 4 rotates, and an upper cylinder simultaneously rotates. When the upper cylinder rotates, a head fitting base 2 rotates with the upper cylinder. When the base 2 rotates clockwise, a rotary position regulation groove 69 rotates, and the tip of the pin 45 is engaged with the groove 69. Thus, the rotation of the base 2 stops. At that time, the head shifts to the position where it is not abutted on the magnetic tape. After the motor base and the upper cylinder rotate clockwise several times, a speed reaches the constant one, and the magnetic tape is conveyed.</p> |
