PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the unevenness of density in a halftone part in an image which is formed in some first transfer sheets by providing a start delaying means which delays the start timing of a main electrifier with respect to the start timing of a photosensitive body driving means when operation is started. CONSTITUTION:In steady condition the surface of a photosensitive body drum 7 moves at the speed of 72mm per second with respect to the main electrifier device 8. While the main electrifier 8 is connected with a control means 26 through a main electrifier driving means 27. When a printing switch 28 is turned on, the control means 26 sends a motor operation signal as a control signal to a motor driving means 25 to rotate a main motor 24 at first, and after a specified time, the control means sends a main electrifier operation signal to the main electrifier driving means 27 to perform control in the way that the main electrifier 8 is operated. Thus, pin hole appearance, the sticking of a developer containing a carrier to the photosensitive body drum and the occurrence of density nonuniformity due to residual electric potential, etc., are prevented, and the degradation of the photosensitive drum can be suppressed. |
