PURPOSE:To select many form slides at a high speed without increasing the size of a selector, by putting a slide on each face of a polygonal rotor and setting the slide at a prescribed position at the image pickup position. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 3 delivered from a laser scanner 10 scans the surface of a form slide 1 loaded to, a slide carrier 2 of a polygonal cylinder form. The light passed through the slide 1 is led to a condenser lens 9 via a reflectors 4 and 8 and made incident to a photodetecting device 6. The device 6 produces the electric signal in response to the beam 3 and then supplies it to the input of one side of a signal synthesizing circuit 14 via a signal line 12 and in the form of a time series picture signal showing the picture of the slide 1. The time series picture signal given from a magnetic tape 18 is supplied to the input 16 of the other side of the circuit 14. The picture signal synthesized through the circuit 14 is supplied to an acoustic-optical modulator 22, and a synthesized picture is recorded to a recording medium 28. |
