PURPOSE:To perform sealing without taking a time without exerting adverse effect on content, by heating a lid formed of a specific material by a high frequency induction heater and a main heater. CONSTITUTION:At a press station S1, a dish-shaped lid C2 is molded from a lid material made of a laminate, which is formed by applying a polyethylene layer to both surfaces of an aluminum foil, by pressing and, in a capping station S2, a container C1 is covered with said lid C2. The lid C2 allowed to cover the container C1 passes through a tunnel 14 to be preheated by a high frequency induction heater 12 and, subsequently, the container C1 and the lid C2 are fed to the place under a seal head 13. The seal head 13 is allowed to fall to press the peripheral edge part of the lid C2 to the mouth edge part of the container C1 under heating. Though heating is performed two stages, the container and the lid are heated while fed by a conveyor 11 and, therefore, a heat-sealing time is not taken excessively. |
