PURPOSE:To correct the distortion of raster data at a high speed by dividing the length of each side by the size of expansion processing and performing transfer processing. CONSTITUTION:A drawing written in a paper surface is inputted to an input circuit for an image scanner and then a reference point 21 and an end point 22 of a reference side is inputted and stored in an image memory. Then an end point 24 of a calculated side corresponding to the size of the drawing is found from the reference point 21 and end point 22. Then, the distance between an end point 23 of a side based upon the distortion of a raster and the end point 24 is calculated as a distortion distance 25. The distance 25 is the deficient number of picture elements, so the length 27 of a calculated longitudinal side is divided by the distance 25 to find correcting longitudinal width 28 for expansion. Then, width 28 and one-line division size 29 are found from the reference point 21 and posted to raster data after correction. Then raster data on one longitudinal line at a right end is posted and next width 28 and width 29 are posted adjacently to perform expansion or reduction. |
